The SONNENGLAS® Generation 6 solar modules have been developed and redesigned from the ground up. They are up to 5x brighter, have infinitely variable brightness and shine approx. 30% longer at the same intensity. The solar modules are fully functional even without the glass lantern. A hidden wire bracket integrated into the solar module makes it possible for the module to be hung up easily and set up so that it can operate without the glass lantern. An illuminated ring integrated into the solar panel shows the colour-coded charge status of the battery once it has been switched off. In addition, the illuminated ring indicates when there is enough sunlight for the battery to charge. As soon as the its surroundings are bright enough, the light automatically switches itself off.
Intelligent day/night automation: the Sonnenglas switches itself on in the evening and then automatically switches itself off again in the morning once it is bright enough. The USB Type-C connector is compatible with all standard USB-C chargers and cables. The Generation 6 solar modules are fully backwards compatible with all Sonnenglases sold since 2013. Hours of illumination: up to 100 hours Thanks to the new high-tech coating, it is robust and even waterproof.
