Shared Mobility/Rental vehicle excess insurance

Benefits

The insurance covers excesses within the liability and comprehensive insurance which are held against the policyholder due to damage to or with the rental vehicle during the rental period.

Passenger cars with a maximum of nine seats (incl. driver) and two-wheelers are covered. Vehicles from sharing models (such as Mobility, etc.) are also insured.

The fees for processing the claim are also reimbursed.

Useful information

• The insurance is valid worldwide without an excess.
• The condition for payment is a covered event triggered by another insurance and a resulting excess.
• A maximum of two claims per calendar year are insured in the case of individual insurance and four claims per calendar year in the case of family insurance.
• A family insurance policy can be taken out for two or more people who live in the same household.
• Only available to people who are permanently resident in Switzerland.
• Taxis and driving school vehicles are not insured.
• The insurance is extended automatically unless the policy is cancelled by the expiry date at the latest.
