‘Perpetual calendar’ with SBB split flap modules
The perpetual calendar in split flap style is made using original SBB modules from old platform display boards and can display the individual letters A-Z and the numbers 0-9. For example, the weekdays Monday to Sunday can be displayed in the form of MO - SU as well as by using the numbers 01 to 31. Of course, words such as LOVE or HOME can also be used to fill the two lines.
- Width: 20.5cm
- Height: 31.5cm
- Depth: 10cm
- Weight: approx. 2.7kg
The individual modules are made of blue aluminium/metal. The split flaps are made of blue plastic, with numbers and letters printed in white. As the modules were exposed to varying temperatures and intensities of sunlight for decades, slight variations in the shade of blue are sometimes present. The frames are made of high-quality oak veneer.
